Education

The West Central Community Correctional Facility partners with the Delaware Area Career Center and the Aspire Program to provide residents with the opportunity to earn their GED and advance their educational goals. The Education Department also assists eligible residents in obtaining their high school diploma (certain restrictions apply), exploring post-release college opportunities, and completing current FAFSA applications. Additional educational support includes individualized tutoring sessions and Integrated Education and Training (IET) programs leading to industry-recognized certifications in Supply Chain, Inventory & Logistics and Retail Industry Fundamentals, with additional certification programs and classes planned for the future.
